A five-foot cocoon wrapped in glossy black sheeting and belted with silver tape, tied off at the crown with a rope loop. It hangs: porch beam, tree limb, the corner of the garage the light never reaches. Nothing inside it moves and nothing makes a sound, so the silhouette does all of the work.

Five feet from the crown of the wrap down to the knot at the bottom, which is enough to hold its own beside a mailbox or a hedge.
How does it hang?
There is a rope loop tied off at the crown. One hook, one beam or one low branch is the whole install.
