Why it holds up
Reads as a silhouette after dark
Black robe, black hood, no face showing — from the sidewalk it's a shape standing where a person shouldn't be. The details only land once a kid is close enough to reach the bowl.
Gauze on the shoulders and cuffs
Torn gauze drapes over the shoulders and hangs well past the wrists, so the arms trail when you hold out the candy. Skeleton-print gloves finish the hands.

What comes in the box?
The floor-length hooded robe with the torn gauze layered over the shoulders, plus the pair of skeleton-print gloves. There is no mask — the hood does that job.
Is there a size to choose?
No. It ships in one adult size, cut floor-length and loose, so the thing to check is the length rather than the waist.
Can I wear it over a coat?
Yes. The robe hangs from the shoulders with nothing fitted at the waist, so a sweatshirt or a jacket underneath does not change how it reads from the sidewalk.
Does anything light up or move?
No. It is cloth and gloves: no batteries, no cord, no motor.
How do I clean it?
Spot clean and hang it to dry. Check the care tag before any machine wash, because the layered gauze is the part that will not survive a hot cycle.
