Why it holds up
Already weathered, no dry-brushing
The bone comes out of the box dirty — grey and black wash sitting in every crack, knuckle and tooth. No base coat, no dry-brushing, no night spent waiting for paint to cure on the garage floor.
Two stakes and it stays put
Ground stakes come in the box, so the pieces go straight into the sod. If your yard catches the wind coming off the street, move up to the Ground-Lock kit before you set them.

Spread the pieces apart instead of clustering them and the sod reads as one body coming up underneath. Put it beside any other groundbreaker and the yard stops looking like separate props on a lawn.

On the night the porch light does the work: the sockets hold a black shadow and the hands catch the beam from the street. In November you pull the stakes, knock the dirt off and the pieces stack flat in a bin — nothing to unplug, no batteries to pull. Standard delivery runs 5 to 7 days, so order with room.
