A 20-inch mesh wreath done up as a witch who never quite made it through the door: purple spiderweb hat up top, striped legs and pointy black boots dangling off the bottom, three orange pumpkins and a checkered BOO sign in the middle. It doesn't move or make a sound. It hangs on the front door or the covered porch and lets the kids work out where the rest of her went.

Reads from the street
Black mesh and black leaves underneath, then ribbon on top in purple polka dot, lime skulls, orange chevron and black-and-white check. It's busy on purpose, so it doesn't vanish into a dark door at dusk.

Does it move or make a sound?
No. It is a static wreath. Nothing moves, nothing plugs in and nothing makes a noise, so there is nothing to switch on and nothing to reset between groups.
How big is it?
Twenty inches tall, hat to boots. On a front door that lands at about the height a kid standing on the step is already looking.
