The gray is already cracked and blotched in the mold, so the stones look right the first night out. No primer, no dry-brushing on the garage floor in September.

Ground stakes come in the box and hold in soft turf. If your yard takes wind off open ground, move them onto a Ground-Lock kit before the first storm rolls through.

On the night they sit still and do the work: six silhouettes between the sidewalk and the door, so the kids walk through a graveyard instead of past a house. In November the stakes pull out and the stones stack flat on a shelf. Standard delivery runs 5 to 7 days, so order with room before the last week of October.
