Vacuum it regularly like you would any rug. For a spill or a mark, spot-clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. It's not machine washable — skip the washer, the quilted printed surface is built for spot care, not a full soak.
Will it slide around on the floor?
No. The underside is a plastic backing covered in non-slip rubber dots, and the edge is locked so it won't fray, peel, or curl up at the corners over time. Lay it flat and it stays where you put it.
Can I use it outside, like on the porch?
It's indoor use only. This is a quilted textile rug meant for your floor — hallway, bedroom, in front of the couch — not weatherproofed decor. We don't have outdoor durability data on it, so keep it off the porch.

None of that. It's a printed textile rug, full stop — no batteries, no motor, no sensor. The abyss look is entirely a printed optical illusion, not a mechanical effect, which is exactly why it survives being walked on every day.
