The strand is dark green-black, which reads as nothing against a hedge or a fence rail in daylight. After sundown the sidewalk sees floating color, not a cord stapled to the siding.

On Halloween night the front of the house reads purple from the street, before anyone is close enough to make out the props. In November you take it down, wind it back onto the reel it shipped on, and the strand goes in the bin without a knot in it. Standard shipping runs 5 to 7 days, so leave room.
