How does it run?
Plug it into a standard 120V outlet. The motor and the sound effects are built into the cart, so there is no separate speaker or controller to bury in the bushes.
Does it need batteries?
No. It runs off a wall outlet, so there is no battery pack to dig out of the cart at 8 p.m. on the 31st.
Is it okay for little kids?
It is rated not for little kids. The bald head, the orange tufts and the mouthful of teeth earn that. Put it where the older trick-or-treaters walk and keep the toddler lane on the other side of the porch.
Where should it go?
At the end of the driveway, where the sidewalk traffic has to pass it. From the street it reads as a real vintage cart until the clown in the chest does its part.
Can it stay out all October?
Yes, it is built for outdoor display through the season, so it does not have to come in every evening.
How does it store?
The umbrella comes off and the cart packs flat back into the tote for the garage shelf.
