Questions people ask

Will it actually look real from the street?

The image fills the whole window, so from outside it reads as movement behind the glass, not a decoration stuck to it. The one thing that makes or breaks it: keep the room behind the screen dark. Lights on, and it looks like a screen. Lights off, and it looks like something is in the house.

Do I need to buy a screen, or use my own sheet?

It ships with a fitted projection screen, so a bedsheet isn't necessary. Tape or clip it flat inside the window frame, pull it tight so there are no creases, and the image lands clean.

Can I use my own videos, or am I stuck with what it comes with?

Both. Mirror your phone straight to the lens, or plug in your own clips over HDMI or USB. Switch scenes mid-evening if you want — you're never locked to one loop.

How far back does it need to sit?

About 6.5 ft (2 m) back fills the frame at up to 100 in. A console table, a shelf, or a stack of books across the room from the window is usually enough — no dedicated mount required.

Does it only work on windows?

No — the lens rotates 180°, so the same unit aims at a window, a bare wall or the ceiling. Windows are what fool people from the street; walls and ceilings work for parties and indoor haunted-house setups.

Is the projected scene too scary for trick-or-treaters?

The default scenes lean eerie, not gory — a pale face, moving shadows, no blood. It sits at slightly scary: kids on the sidewalk point and keep walking. Since you control what plays, you decide how mild or wild it gets.

What's actually different between the 1, 2 and 4-window packs?

Only the count and the price per unit — one covers a single statement window, two do both sides of the porch, four run the whole front of the house at once. Every unit is identical.

When does it arrive, and can I return it?

Five to seven business days from the US, three to four on express. Thirty days to send it back if it's not right.
