Questions people ask

Does it actually move, or just light up?

It doesn't have a motor arm or a turning head — the eyes and lantern light up and a moan plays when the sensor catches you. If you want a figure with a moving head and arm, that's the giant animatronics in our Animatronics collection; this one is built stake-scale for lining a path.

How far away does the motion sensor pick you up?

It's tuned for the width of a front path — close enough to catch someone stepping onto the walk, not so far that every car on the street sets it off.

How long do the batteries last?

Four AA batteries get several weeks of nightly dusk-to-late-night use. Swap them mid-season if you're running it every single night.

Can I get a different lantern or eye color?

Always an amber lantern and always blue eyes — that two-tone is the whole look. There's no color option.

Is it too scary for trick-or-treaters?

The moan is a soft, low sound, not a shriek, and there's no gore or jump-motor. It sits at slightly scary — kids notice it, point, and keep walking.

What's actually different between the packs?

Only the count and the price per unit — two flanks a door, four lines a path, eight covers a full driveway. Every unit is identical.

Does it need sunlight to charge?

No — it's battery only, no solar panel. It runs off the four AA batteries in the box, so shade or an overcast week doesn't affect it.

When does it arrive, and can I return it?

Five to seven business days from the US, three to four on express. Thirty days to send it back if it's not right.
