Why it holds up
One box, one yard
Ten anchors is enough to pin a fence run, the pieces along the walkway and whatever sits by the driveway without rationing them. You set the yard once instead of walking back to the garage for more.
Stiffer than the pins in the prop box
The thin wire pins packed with most props bend at the first gust and let the whole piece lean over the walkway. These are heavy ribbed steel and hold through gusts that fold those pins. For a full wind night, step up to a Ground-Lock kit.
The ribs do the gripping
The deformed shank bites the soil the way rebar bites concrete, so it keeps its grip instead of sliding straight back out when the ground goes soft. The deep U hooks over a base rail or a stake tab and pins it flat.

The pieces sit where you set them, and on a full wind night you add a Ground-Lock kit. In November you rock each one loose by the hook, knock the dirt off, and all ten go back in the tote.
