What sets it off?
Sound. Once the trick-or-treaters on the steps get loud enough, it starts talking on its own.
Does it actually speak?
Yes, that is the whole effect, and the box carries the I Can Talk sticker on the front.
Can it sit on the porch?
Yes. It works indoors or out, so a porch chair or the top step is fine and it moves to a shelf the rest of the year.
Is the box worth keeping?
The yellow window box is a prop on its own, down to the line about wanting you for a best friend. You can leave it in the box and set the whole thing by the door.
Is it for little kids?
No. The box is rated ages 15 and up, and this one is not for the youngest trick-or-treaters. Route the toddlers past the pumpkins on the other side of the yard.
How does it store?
Back into the yellow box, and the box onto the shelf, in one move.

30 days from delivery, unused and in the box. Damaged on arrival: photo + order number and we replace it first.
