Questions people ask
How tall is it?
Six feet from the point of the hat to the hem, which is why it reads from the curb and not only from the top step.
Does anything move?
No. It is a static hanging prop: no motor, no arms that swing, nothing to reset between waves of trick-or-treaters.
Does it light up?
Yes. Purple lights run down the front panel and the eyes glow red under the white hair, so no separate fixture has to be aimed at it.
Where should I hang it?
A porch beam, a low branch or the garage header. Give the loose gauze room instead of pressing it flat to a wall, and keep the hem off the walkway.
Is it too much for small kids?
It is built to scare and it is not for little kids. Hang it to the side of the walk if toddlers come through.
How does it store?
Fold the gauze flat, lay the robe over it and the whole piece goes back in one box in November.
