What exactly is the 'illusion' here?
It's a single fixed illustration printed onto the rug's surface — the alien, the spiral, the glowing eyes, all inked in with enough depth and shading to read as 3D from a few feet away. There's no physical depth and no moving pieces: the trick is entirely in the print, which is also why it never breaks.
What sizes is it available in?
Round, in seven diameters: 16in/40cm, 20in/50cm, 24in/60cm, 32in/80cm, 40in/100cm, 47in/120cm, and 55in/140cm — all at the same 0.19in / 0.5cm thickness.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum it like you would any rug. For a spill or a stain, a mild detergent and a damp cloth handle it. It's not machine washable, so keep it out of the washer.
Will it slide around on hardwood or tile?
It shouldn't. The backing is plastic with rubber non-slip dots, and the edge is locked so it doesn't fray or peel up at the rim over time.
Can I put it outside, like a porch or patio?
It's designed as an indoor floor rug. We don't have durability data for rain, direct sun, or other outdoor exposure, so it's best kept where the weather can't reach it.
How long does shipping take?
5-7 business days on standard, 3-4 on express — it ships from our supplier in the US.
Can I mix different illusion designs into one pack?
Not inside one listing — this pack is all Starveil, the same design in every unit. Each of our other illusion designs is its own product in the collection, so you'd add each one separately if you want a mix.
Does it light up or make any sound?
No — it's a fully static printed rug. No lights, no sound, no batteries. Everything you see is ink and weave, which is also why there's nothing here that eventually stops working.

30 days from delivery, unused and in the box. Damaged on arrival: photo + order number and we replace it first.
