How tall is it, really?

The declared height is 140.24 inches — eleven feet eight. "12 ft" is the commercial name, not the measurement. Either way it stands taller than the door it is next to, so measure the drop from your gutter before you decide where it goes.

What does it take to put up?

Two adults and about an hour. It stands on a welded steel frame: level the ground, seat the base, and pull the guy lines taut before you leave it standing overnight.

Do the eyes really change?

They are actual screens. Twenty LCD eye effects, changed from your phone — not a painted eye and not a bulb behind a lens.

Can it talk?

Record up to thirty sounds, or talk through it live from the porch while the mouth keeps time with whatever you send it. The head turns on its own while it does.

Does it need me standing there all night?

No. A motion sensor wakes it for whoever walks up and the built-in timer handles the rest, so it runs the night without your phone in range.

Batteries or wall outlet?
