A 10-foot inflatable arch in black and orange, printed with bats, cats and webs across the span, with a stack of carved jack-o'-lanterns flanking each leg and a winged dragon with a sculpted flame at the top. Printed fabric over a built-in fan, lit from inside. It goes over the front walk or the top of the driveway, so people pass under it on the way to the door.

Why it holds up
Ten feet over the front walk
Ten feet puts the dragon well above head height and keeps the print legible from the sidewalk. The lit pumpkin stacks are what catches a driver's eye first, before they pick out the arch behind them.
It stands itself up
Plug the fan in and it stands itself up while you drive the stakes and run the tethers, both in the box. Heavy-fan build, so it is still standing at sunrise instead of folded over the hedge.
The glow comes from inside the span
The light-up effects are built in, so nothing has to be aimed at it from the ground and there is no second cord crossing the driveway. This one is static: it glows, it does not move or talk.

On the night it is the thing people walk through instead of past, the whole line funneling under the dragon on the way to your door. In November you cut the fan, fold the fabric down, pull the stakes, and the arch goes back in its box until next year. Standard delivery runs 5 to 7 days, express 3 to 4.
