The bracket on top takes lag screws, a bolt through the slot, or a wire strap, and the kit ships with the screws and the hex driver bit. Why it holds up

The spiral flight cuts into sod and pulls itself down instead of sitting loose in a hole you punched. The bent wire stakes that ship in a prop box fold flat in the first real gust; these hold through it.

Lag screws through the flat face for a wood post, a bolt through the slot for a fence panel, or a wire strap around a metal pole. The extra holes let you re-aim a prop without backing the anchor out of the ground.
